I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and the parking facilities were convenient, although my room wasn't ready upon arrival. The staff was friendly and it offered good value for money.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was lovely with a great view over the River Forth, but there were cleanliness issues that should have been addressed considering the price. The last-minute booking process was smooth and quick, and the bathroom stood out as a nice feature.

Rooms
7.0
The room was lovely with a great view over the River Forth. However, there were cleanliness issues like dust on blinds and surfaces, cobwebs on walls, and hair in plug holes in the shower. For nearly £80 a night, I expected the basics to be done.
Service
8.0
The staff were very friendly and polite, especially Alex and Jordan in the bar/restaurant and Lauren on reception. They fussed over us and even asked what I liked for breakfast.
Location

The location was very good for the sites I had to visit for my business. It was perfect for exploring by car, including the Falkirk Wheel, Kelpies, Blackness beach, the Forth bridges, Edinburgh, and the stunning Fife coast. However, the hotel looked like a bomb had hit it.
Dining

The dining experience was very good with a lovely choice of food. I was especially pleased with the reasonable prices. However, some dishes were left in a hot trolley and ended up cold when eaten.

The hotel offered clean and good spaces in the rooms, friendly staff, and lovely food. However, there were some cleanliness issues like a dirty pillowcase on the floor near the front door and the carpet not being vacuumed. The presence of Netflix was a nice touch.

The location was what I needed and achieved, with a nice view of the river from our room and overlooking the Firth of Forth and the town itself. It was in Cowdenbeath, offering clean and airy newly refurbished bedrooms with complimentary beverages and a large TV.

The dining experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The food was very tasty, and the lady serving us was lovely, but there were delays in service and some confusion with orders. However, they still managed to provide a good experience.

The hotel had beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean rooms, but the street noise and light coming in made it a bit uncomfortable. The service was incredibly welcoming and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for our needs, close to a beautiful river view and convenient amenities. The dining experience was mostly great, with a few options running out one morning. The facilities were well-kept and enjoyable.

I stayed in the apartment block adjacent to the main hotel and found the rooms to be very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The service was top-notch, with a kind and funny woman serving us delicious meals and efficient, polite staff. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions and the dining experience was excellent. However, the starter in the restaurant was disappointing. Overall, a great experience with excellent value for money.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were fabulous with our own front door, and they even accommodated moving meals to the bar area so we could have our dogs with us. The room was lovely, very spacious, and immaculately clean. The location was perfect for exploring various attractions like the Falkirk wheel, Kelpies, and Edinburgh, making it a great base for sightseeing. However, the dining experience was a bit of a letdown as the breakfast hour was quite late, causing us to miss it both days. Despite that, the service and housekeeping were fantastic throughout the stay.
